I like giving my dogs treats - anything that makes them happy, makes me happy too (apart from rolling in dead things etc obviously  :lol2: ).

I've just looked at the Zooplus site and there's so many different things I don't even know where to start - anyone got any recommendations ? Preferably the less fatty things (they are all neutered now) and ideally something that Stevie can't wolf down in 2 seconds.

Ruby has been neutered, but is still lovely and slim while eating a piece of tripe or two EVERY day(poor Chloe an Jarv  :005:) a piece of pizzle will last her around an hour, and for recall i cut the pig intestine into small pieces, hands smell divine  :lol2:.

Also look in the cat section at the dried fish   ;)

I bought some of the dried spratts once before and they looked so horrible that I put them to one side (noone else would feed them  :005: ) - then of course I forgot them till I was cleaning up the garage.... Can't even begin to explain how they smelt after several months in a plastic container  ph34r

Thanks for the Zooplus idea - off to have a look.  I find it hard to visualise the quantity/weight so will have to compare the usual bag sizes at PAH...

Jasper puts on weight easily so I have to be careful what he has and if it's too high value I don't want them to have something the other wants to steal and start a fight  >:D

From Zooplus mine love (or loved cos now Tilly can't have it!) the ostrich sinews and tripe - which is all really low fat, the venison sinews, ears and trachea ( :P) and the beef pizzles. They also love the dried fish treats but they're 'gone in one bite' jobs rather than chews.

My lot usually only get pizzles, tripe sticks etc. once or twice a week but I bulk buy from Zooplus too, they do some really good offers on multibuys and I've always found the service really good.

Same here. If you buy enough to get free postage (and we always do :D), their stuff is good value for money. Our gang mainly have tripe sticks (prefer the beef to the lamb though) & pizzles but I also get ostrich sinews sometimes & venison ears. All the labels are usually in German so it's good fun trying to guess what the assorted bits are (unless they are instantly recognisable :005:)

I buy my cat food from Zooplus so always get free delivery.  I often get some treats for Coco too ;)  She likes the cow's ears (less fatty than pig's ears), I often give her tripe sticks which she loves (bit stinky though), pizzles, and she also has the Fish 4 dogs treats - the thin twisty ones are good and you get loads in a bag.  :D  Nothing takes her long to scoff though - Coco is an eating machine - but I guess pizzles last the longest  ::) :005:

For those who want long lasting treats, the Pizzles are very long lasting - both my cocker and lab will chew them for 20 minutes at a time and still not finish them.

Just ordered a mixture of chewy treats from Zooplus this morning & have received an email back to say they have been despatched.

Free delivery & cheaper than the 2 local pet shops.
