Smelly puppy
« on: April 09, 2010, 06:49:11 PM »
Hi am a new cocker owner and this forum is fantastic :lol2: We have  Milo who is 14 weeks and absolutely gorgeous, he is a little star most of the time. Today after a walk in the park he came home and went into his crate for a sleep. I thought it would be a good time to leave him as I go back to work on Monday and he will be left for up to 3 hours on some days depending on my OH and DDs shifts. He likes his crate and chooses to go there to sleep or chew on his toys/chews that he doesn't want Mia our CKC to have. 30mins later my 17yr old phoned to say he was crying like mad and had messed in his cage and rolled in it :'( Bless her she got him out and bathed him . He has done this once before when I left him for 5mins as a trial. Not sure what to do, can't cope with the thought of him like that if nobody in :-\ Would a puppy pen help? he is quite happily chewing away in the kitchen ( on a toy) by himself so can cope with that type of separation. Any advice please!!
