Jarvis circles furiously up to 7 times and chooses the highest point possible, which can sometimes be on top a stinging nettle or a thistle. He will then kick with his back feet to spread his scent which usually just sends grass and clods of earth flying into the faces of any dogs and humans passing...it's just what he does
The most peculier thing I have noticed with both the girls I have had, they never seem to poo in one place, but like to 'spread it about' whereas Smudge just gets on with it in one place.

Some dogs just poo like that - I think it's a form of scent spreading - he's not embarrassed so I don't see any reason why you are Jarvis circles furiously up to 7 times and chooses the highest point possible, which can sometimes be on top a stinging nettle or a thistle.
