Now Mia's got an ear infection arrrrrgh

Just thought I would mention that little Mia has got quite a sore ear  :luv: took her to the vet this afternoon as she was scratching at it and wincing a bit. When I looked inside, it was quite red with a bit of dried blood in there as well.  Chris (our vet) said she's picked up an infection from somewhere so gave her some ear drops for 5 days.  Crikey in 30 years of having cockers I have never had one so young with an ear infection. What is it this year with ears and our darling dogs???? x x x

It did upset me a bit as it is 6 months to the day (today) that I lost my darling Pebbles through a nasty ear  :'( :'(

really hope the drops clear the infection up soon & Mia feels all better again  :luv: :luv:
(I'm sure you'll keep an eye on it but if it doesn't clear up completely, I'd pop her back to the vets to check there isn't anything further down inside .....experience says always check for grass seeds  :shades: :005: )

I guess it's just the season for poorly ears  ;)

 :'( oh no poor Mia...everything crossed the infection soon subsides (and goes away) and she feels more comfortable...
