As long as he is healthy then don't worry.  My Archie was 1.6kg when I got him at 9 weeks.  He is about 10kg at 17 months, so on the smaller side, but believe me he has enough energy for 2.

Thanks again for all your positive posts.  Toby weighed 3.3 kg when I took him to the vet at 13 weeks so I probably am being REALLY neurotic .  I haven't been weighing his food lately though.  Just giving him as much as he wants at each mealtime because he seemd so hungry when I first brought him home.  He's certainly not fat so hopefully that's OK.
