Please check very carefully exactly what services any groomer advertises.
Before I found Morgan's lovely groomer I phoned round practically every groomer in our local phonebook. Some of them who advertised handstripping then said they'd stopped doing it as it was too time-consuming, other excuses were that cockers can't be handstripped (
) nobody who owns a cocker gets them handstripped and so they only do clipping now (
) and I found out that one of them handstrips terriers and thought all handstripping was the same!
