Why oh why
« on: October 11, 2012, 04:24:15 PM »
Why is it that my adorable dog can not stay away from puddles! have just been for a lovely long walk with two King Charles spaniels who both careful walked around any puddles and then there's my dog who will actively seek out puddles to jump into!! Think I may have to take the plunge (quite literally) and find him somewhere to swim!!

This is what wonderful cockers do.   Megan is a mud magnet.

Murphy prefers muddy puddles and smelly stagnant water to clean fresh water - it's a cocker thing

Milly loves muddy puddles, she's set her internal GPS to navigate a direct line between the choicest ones on our walks. :lol2: :luv:

Sounds just like Clover, only she heads for the dirtiest, stagnant ditches and muddy cart tracks, and gunge filled troughs she can possibly find, and actually WALLOWS in them!  >:D :005: Clean water disgusts her, I think! I set off with a beautiful spruced up little dog and come home with a bedraggled, filthy, smelly one. If she does ever come home clean, then I know she hasn't had much fun on her walk!  :005:
To know them is to love them.....
