Poor Benson The yellow tinge to his tummy skin could have a few causes but with his anaemia it could be due to the breakdown of red blood cells and then as the body tries to deal with the by-products like bilirubin it becomes saturated. This results in the visible yellowing of the skin and mucous membranes. There are other causes of it and I would definitely speak to your vet about it. I might have missed it but is Benson on pred at the moment? I really hope he feels better soon. Hugs to both you and him.
