Off her breakfast?
« on: March 08, 2013, 10:54:12 AM »
Just wondered if anyone's cocker won't eat in the morning?  Until I can take her out she doesn't have an appetite - she does eat her food later on so not too worried but today I am stuck in waiting for a parcel ( food so can't go anywhere!) and holly is not touching her food in the meantime - feel bad but can't take her til post has been  >:D

Same here. Honey usually eats her breakfast when she gets back from her walk, and then its sometimes only half of it!

I wouldn't worry too much, if she's not mithering you for her breakfast, then she's obviously not hungry!  As long as she eats it when you get back from your walk then that's fine, and if her walk is later than normal and she's still not bothered then you don't need to be!  You don't say how old she is - perhaps she's just letting you know that it's time you dropped one of her meals.

As long as she's not underweight then you should consider yourself lucky that you haven't got a 'typical' cocker, who wants to eat all the time!  :005:
