Advocate and vomiting
« on: March 11, 2013, 09:06:33 AM »
Hi guys, treated Teal on Sunday with Advocate as supplied by my Vet, and hour later Teal was very sick over a couple of hours, vomiting heavily and could not hold even water down. 4 hours later she was as right as rain we gave her a little chicken breast and half hour later she had her normal evening meal with no more vomiting, has any one else had this with Advocate, it does say may cause vomiting but I was surprised at how quick the reaction was, if it was the Advocate ????

Sounds very much like a reaction to the advocate to me - especially as it went as quickly as it came on.
I'd be inclined not to use it on her in future and let your vet know the reaction.

I think you are right, strange as I have used before with no ill effects.
