Pepper's paw growth/lump - lab results

Just to let you know that I had a call from the vet today to say that it was good news. :dance04:

The lump that Pepper had removed just over a week ago is an exothetic viral induced papilloma (virus in layman's terms). Apparently this is something that is generally found in younger dogs (although Pepper is only 4) but can also occur on older ones. It can appear on the face, legs or elsewhere on the body and in 99.9% of cases it doesn't go on to be anything serious.

Thank you for all your kind words and best wishes to all those waiting for results/answers for ongoing problems with your little loved ones.  :blink:

I'm glad to hear that :)

Jem had a histiocytoma on her tum recently and the vet was pretty sure it was that (they are benign). I didn't think I was too worried but when the vet phoned to say it was good news, I put the phone down and burst into tears of relief!
