So worried about Willow :-(
« on: March 13, 2013, 06:40:13 AM »
Willow isnt very well at all this morning  :'(

By mistake I set my alarm for an hour early and when I woke I noticed Willow wasnt on the bed, I called her and couldnt see her. I could then see her little head peering up at me but she would jump on the bed and her ears were down.  I encouraged her on the bed but she wouldnt jump. She then carefully put her two front paws on the bed but her back legs were a bit shakey I lifted her onto the bed. She seems to be holding all of her body stiff including her neck.  :'(

Im really hoping this doesnt mean her meningitis is back  :'( :'(

I have called the Willows referral centre (out of hours) where she was under last year and she said the specialist we were under last year has an emergency appointment at 9am but I have to call at 8am as he has to approve this.

She also has diarrhoea. I got her some natural instincts from Crufts and with this a raw bone. I gave her only a small amount each day and her poops became sloppy but by yesterday it was like water so I took her off it. At first this morning I thought she was perhaps a bit weak due to that but when she had colitis as a pup she pooped more than this and wasnt weak....

Im going out of my mind with worry. Please send some healing vibes for our poorly baby

Hope it turns out to be just a bug or change in diet and that she is feeling better soon.  Good luck at the vets.

Everything crossed for your gorgeous girl Maddy... tho I can understand why you are completely, but you're doing the right thing for her.   Let us know how you get on. xxx

I really hope it's not a relapse Maddy but as some form of comfort this is exactly how Jarvis reacts when he has a stomach bug.  You would think he was on deaths door  ph34r
