Thank you everyone. It's amazing how people you don't know and will likely never meet, make you feel less alone when things are going pear shaped.
Anyway, sort of good news/bad news for Kali. Her blood test showed a very slight raise in her Lipase levels but her Amylase was ok so Laurie has sent a sample to the lab this morning for a more detailed analysis. She thinks, even though the levels are slight, that it is pancreatitis. She was saying it is probably because I caught it so early that it reads as it does but.....there are no guarantees until the sample comes back.
So now we wait. Results might be as long as Tuesday before we get them. She won't do an ultrasound on her tummy because if it is pancreatitis she said it can do more damage by rollering over it. If the results come back normal then she will go ahead with the ultrasound and see what is causing the problem
. Kali will stay there until Laurie is happy with her and as much as I miss my gentle, noisy girl, that's best for her.
So....back to waiting.....
