« on: May 22, 2013, 11:09:27 AM »
Hi out there,
Just wondered if anyone out there can help.
I have a 10 week old liver roan and tan cocker puppy he currently has bluey green eyes and I am curious to know at what age they will have changed by ( if at all)
I'm sure someone will know!!
Thanks all

They all have a bluey tinge to their eyes when they are puppies. I'm not sure why, I very very occasionally notice it now (he'll be 2 in July) but rarely, it must just be a glint of light catching the right place or something. I'm not sure when the blue went really :(
My beautiful little boy Charlie :)

My Jem is chocolate roan and her eyes are now a beautiful hazel. I can't really remember when they changed though.

I can't give you an exact date, but just looked back over my photos and this was what (liver roan) Brodie's eyes were like as a young pup:

And then at six months:

They stayed quite light for a number of years but then darkened a year or so ago (she's five)

Brodie =  :luv:  :luv:  Rowan's eyes are hazel now after being only slightly blue tinged for 10 weeks. In the last month or so they are now darker hazel. Liver roan and tan pup will be gorgeous - hope you can get photos up
Proud to be owned by a cocker spaniel.

You will need to register with a photo hosting site, Photobucket seems to be the most popular:

http://photobucket.com/ (hope that link works)

Instructions here, although it is not as complicated as it sounds :D
