Anyone else doggy do this
« on: December 05, 2013, 05:19:40 PM »
Riley is turning into an old man in the aspect of after  his dinner at night like as soon as he has finished (well after he has hinted for more by licking his lips and taking me back to his bowl and staring at it, then the cupboard then the bowl and so on)

Phew , well he goes straight to the living room door and wants to go , no not out but up to bed to lay down, seriously he wants to go up and lay on our bed like an old man after his big sunday dinner. Any other like this?

Oh  yes indeedy, at the ripe old age of 5.5 months, Minstrel likes an afternoon nap after his lunch & is usually joined by his hooman  in this.  ;)

Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

Yep, guarantee they sleep straight after

I know when Max is tired as he begs for his dinner earlier, just so he can go to bed  :005:

I just wish Murphy would sleep at any time during the day. If he does fall asleep it only takes the slightest movement from me and he is awake again.

Yes, Merlin does this too. He usually curls up and naps from feeding time (7pm) to bedtime (11pm ish).

When I am visiting my dad (so it tends to be a strenuous day for him with travelling there and usually a fairly long walk too) he often asks at the kitchen door to go up to my bedroom to sleep there, lol  :luv:

I wish, no after eating he goes to the cupboard where we keep his food and just barks until we give him and give him a tripe stick, he goes into his basket to eat it then goes back to the cupboard and barks again >:D he is just a pig ;) in cocker clothing  ;)

Yup Misha for definite - she has her tea at about 4pm, then pesters me to open the door to the living room where she gets onto the sofa and doesn't move until about 11pm, for bedtime pee and then to bed.  She's always been great in this respect if I need to go out. Even on walks she'll plod alongside me (she's 6 years old), then have a mad race around and then back to plodding alongside me.  Totally different when it comes to flyball and waiting for her to turn to run, then she turns into a greyhound and can't wait to get going  :lol2:
