Well, Chaz hasn't had ours over, it was more of a case of towing it around the living room with it still in it's box kind of thing.
Our 6 ft tree, in it's rather battered cardboard box, was brought down from the loft and put on the living room floor while a side table was moved to make the tree's "usual place" available. Next thing the box and tree whizzed off for a lap around the living room being towed by Chaz. I made a grab for the box and missed but Dot managed to grab hold of the tip of the tree that was sticking out of the end of the box.
Result, our tree was now out of the box and close to where we wanted it while Chaz disappeared out into the kitchen with a much lighter cardboard box in tow.
Milly, like the refined lady she is, took no part in the unboxing but contented herself with twirling round in circles Woo Wooing

The box is now even more battered but, on a positive note, it's not every cocker that helps to get the decorations ready
