Minstrel's last pretty well - he is not really a destructive pup - except of paper/cardboard.

He has quite a few new ones today  :-*, including a kong wubba, that he has not played with yet as we have just been for our walk and he is crashed out  :luv:
Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

Hudson hasn't really shown much interest in them so far as there is too much wrapping paper around to shred!!  :luv:

I wrap each one separately so she's had one every so often when she's needed something to do, and they were wrapped with loads of paper to take time for her to get them open.

She's had four so far. The plastic hotdog is de squeaked and half shredded (lasted ten minutes, including removing wrapping paper). The stuffed pheasant is de squeaked, de stuffed and strewn around the carpet (twenty minutes), the plastic hamburger I THINK is still intact, and the green chew has been added to the cache under the sofa of the Thanks But No Thanks things. I was planning to go through her toy box after Christmas and take out the chewed up/trashed things and replace with her new toys, but there won't be anything left intact by tomorrow.

I buy toys fully aware they're going to be wrecked in minutes, I never get her anything expensive. Actually she's as happy tearing a cardboard box to bits to reach a few treats in twists of paper, and it's cheaper - you'd think I'd learn!  >:D

Lottie has all her toys from the day I got her, so 9 months so far... :005:

Well, albeit from one monkey who got a hole and stuffing started escaping, but I think that was meow from shoddy workmanship :)

We gave up on stuffed toys as Toby was able to de-stuff in minutes!

Best long lasting thing are the stag horns!

A new ball lasted 5-10 minutes before it had lumps ripped out and all over my carpet!  It's now in the bin!  To be fair, I did say to my child it wouldn't last long with Mollie but he wanted to give it to her from him.  Knowing what she is like - I'm not surprised!  She needs the 'tuff' toys!!  ph34r  :005:

Have you tried the Skineze toys, no stuffing but with a squeak at each end, they keep Minstrel amused for ages, either playing with me or tossing it in the air and 'finding' it.

Minstrel is not a rough little lad with his toys - so do not know how they will fair with more exhubarant pups. Because they are long you can keep your fingers away from puppy gnashers.

Seconds. 10, maybe 20 max. Not just toys either. Anything Archie gets hold of will likely suffer the same fate.  >:D

My Archie is very good with cuddlies, Odie was a maniac so nothing ever lasted long with him!  All toys completely intact (can't say the say for my daughters' cuddly puffles - Archie keeps pinching them so they are covered in dog drool  :P :005:
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!

My Alfie is a toy destroyer. He has always aimed to de-stuff soft toys from the moment that they are given to him. He is 15 months old now and he has never changed from being a pup. The soft toy that he had for Christmas (which was supposed to be an extra tough soft toy) is now in pieces all over our floor.

Jinley has many of her toys from her first week home.  She has a Winnie The Pooh which she carefully carries around by his red vest  :luv:

Ruby and Millie's toys do not last long, tennis balls slightly longer ,their most played with "toy" is an old bath towel which gets dragged every where !! just gets a bit embarrassing when they drag it in and try to give it to visitors.
