The oldest dog toy I have is a 23 year old fluffy orange carrot bought for my black Cocker Sam when he was a puppy. Neither of my first 2 Cockers destroyed toys (although Sam chewed a few skirting boards over the years ) and neither did William, although he buried one or two in the garden when he was young :005:.

Louis has a keen eye for a loose stitch and is good at de-stuffing toys, so the vintage carrot and William's favourite hedgehog, penguin, manatee and pink sheep are kept out of the way of Louis. He's 4 now but just the other day I caught him happily pulling stuffing from fat cat (now called flat cat) :lol2:

Buy him a Skineze toy - will save him the trouble of unstuffing (except for the squeaks of course  ;)
