odd puppy behaviour
« on: January 22, 2014, 10:08:42 AM »
Alfie is 6 months old now. Over the past few weeks had went off his food which is burns puppy and we thought this was probably due to the teething which I had read that can happen. Though all the teeth have now fallen out over a week ago but he still isn't eating all his food at all. He hasn't lost any weight and is drinking plenty of water. However, he has over the past two days forgotten toilet training at night (poos and pees)....before this he had been dry for nearly a month. He also has began to go into the garden and just run around in circles, doing laps of the garden and you cannot catch him when he is doing this. Are these all signs of adolescence, or should we get him checked out by the vet? During his teething he was having very soft poos and was acting funny so we brought him to the vet and he got his anal glands emptied. I just wonder could it be this again? Also, he spent a night in the kennels recently to get him used to the place before this june/july when we are going away for 10 days on holiday. I just hope something like that didn't spook him out...
