That's great news!
Sorry to be pedantic - I'm sure everyone thinks I'm an idiot already - but the dog's immune system has done the job in curing what was a mild infection. The saline/tea only keeps the crud from building up in the eye. Helen may well be right that tea does a better job (even on male dogs!) by soothing the eye but I'm guessing there's not a lot of difference. Some people recommend one, some the other.
By the way, the lack of skirt and feathers is not an attempt to make Lenny look butch but a practical response to the mud on the heath and woodland round here. As a neutered dog, Lenny's sexuality may be compromised but I'm completely comfortable with mine. As Caitlin Moran is one of my favourite columnists I claim to be a fully reconstructed, pro-feminist man.
