worming
« on: February 28, 2014, 10:54:52 PM »
Jasper been to vets for jabs, fleas, worming, the vet said we'll get a reminder in a year for booster.  Does he not hsve to go back monthly to be wormed for 6 months? Should I ring vet and check?

usually they're wormed every month till they're 6 months & you only need to go and pick wormers up as the vet doesn't have to see him - it is worth taking him with you though to weigh him each time + your best ally is the vet nurse for all those questions you might have

I just tend to pop in as and when I need them - its also useful for socialising a pup to the vet surgery this way so they have good things happen to them as well as not so nice things - mine all love the vets because of this (they even try to break in when they're closed LOL)
