I prefer to blitz a mix of several things for freezing, partly because I think they get different nutrients from different veggies and fruit, but also to try and limit the amount of sugars, which I think must be bad for their teeth. Having said that, every time I eat an apple or pear I always give them a slice each, so I'm not as careful about their teeth and their sugar intake as I probably should be.

Could you try doing a mixed veg. blitz each week and only include fruit every so often?

Yes, I'll do that from now on - a more balanced diet!
