Jasper is coming along a treat but.....every time i take him out in the car he constantly barks and fidgets. He has got a restraint on fortunately as i wouldnt be able to take him. I walk him as often as possible to places, but like to take him to a large field/park which are a cars drive away. He yaps and barks as he gets in, and then starts when we stop in the car. Thats my first help question.
I have taken a treat tub out which i rattle but he isnt interested.

The second question is he eats daisies....will they harm him? I rattle his treat tub....no interest
Third question, he jumps up every car we pass parked?? Is this too a phase?

If we go out we hear him bark for a few mins then he stops, so i thought he would do that in the car.
He is constantly hungry as well which worries me. If he has extra treats, he gets diarrhea. Hes OK with half a vegetable pigs ear!! which he loves. Thanks to everyone for previous posts i have put on here, every one of them have helped me.  ;)

He is barking mad at the minute, is this a phase that will pass? Any help please... ooh and now hes barking when he runs down the stairs??

Not much help with the barking as Bonnie's not been a big barker (though she has occasional days where everything makes her bark!!)

Bonnie has always pulled and jumped up at parked cars if we've gone out in the car. Its as if she's ready to get back home. If we havent gone out in the car, shes not bothered about them. As a pup, she was on an extender lead so I made sure she couldn't reach them but now her recall is good, I just call her away from them if she starts off towards one. So I'd say no they don't grow out of it but can be trained to stop it I suppose.

No ideas regarding daisy eating. Still, his breath will be fresh as one  :lol2:

Thanks for replying, will have to hope he grows out of it.

Min, Jasper ate his poo!! I brought some Stool Repel UM from pets at home. He has half a tablet a day in his food till he is 5kg, then one tablet a day. After a few days he left his poo well alone!. Dont know if they work for all. I had them from pets at home

Mudmagnets, thanks for the plant list. Thats really useful to look at.

Redked...I wish his poo did smell of daisies....i would be rich selling a new product lol  ;)

Charlie eats, snails, slugs, poo, grass, wasps, he also chews stones!! >:D >:D  Charlie also tries to jump at parked cars if he has seen activity near them but is slowly getting better with this as he is told no and I am in control because he's on lead near them anyway.  He also tries to jump up at everyone when we are out and wants to play with every dog, again this is something I am trying to work on with him.  In the car Charlie is in a crate.  At first he was desperately trying to jump out as soon as the door was open but he is slowly starting to wait and gets rewarded for every positive action whilst in the car which seems to help.

Cant help with the barking though as he only whines and gives little howls if he wants something:)
