I kept forgetting to feed Bea when she was a pup, she would get fed late sometimes by 30Min's to an hour( Bad Mum), she showed no interest in food even though we had a routine but by the 4th week(I think) she was still not interested and I forgot. >:D

She would enjoy eating once she started , now she has only just started asking for her food but very politely  :luv:

Honey isn't a keen eater either, forgot to feed her yesterday until about 9pm, and I still had to spoon feed her!!!! Yet if she can get any human food she gulps it down with gusto >:D

Since moving onto raw, Penny has wolfed down everything she's been given. The difference is amazing.

Just typical, isn't it :lol2:

Until a year or so ago Brodie was not in the least bit interested in her dog food. I can still remember the day she came home and we sat down with our tea - she really couldn't believe her eyes (and nose) :005:. It took a few days to stop her trying to dive bomb onto our plates. Meanwhile it took us three weeks to get her to eat her kibble >:(. Moving to wet food improved things, but it wasn't until she fell ill with pancreatitis that she truly discovered her appetite. She is now on NatureDiet and I still find it very strange when she starts pestering me for her dinner!

Everything edible  :005: Bonnie hated all kibble and had days where she left her Nature Diet wet as well. However, any human food smells and she switched to starving dog mode! Was just about to give up on kibble (after a year trying and wasting every decent brand available  >:D)but she suddenly, post spay, acts like a starving dog even if its kibble. She now wolfs every last bit of any food and keeps going back to lick the bowl.

The words Cheese and Ham have to be spelt in our house unless they are aimed at Abbi! If she hears them in mid conversation she is up like a shot waiting for a little bite!

With regards to 'proper' food though, she barely ate a thing for the first 2 years and we tried every brand of kibble. Mealtimes were very stressful and we got excited if she ate a few mouthfuls. We then discovered raw feeding and mealtimes are now a joy and never leaves a scrap!

I don't think I can do tripe. I remember my dad having some in the fridge because he liked it (nobody else did!) and it was the most repulsive thing I'd ever seen or smelt. That image has rather stayed with me!

The tripe they use for dogs is green tripe and minced. The one from the butchers is white tripe and has been treated.  You need to use the green tripe my two love it.

You see the thought of green tripe is not actually more appetising, LOL! But I shall have a look in the freezer at Pets at Home next time I'm in.
