cocker spaniel clippers
« on: July 20, 2014, 02:03:46 PM »
hi
can anyone recommend suitable clippers for our blue roan cockers coat?
we bought some  wahl  ones for about 40 pounds and they are just not up to the job they get very hot and you have to go over the same area time and time again
we do not mind paying  more if they are up to the job
thanks

I'm sure mine won't be the only recommendation for Andis 2 Speed. They're really good, easy to handle, lightweight, not too noisy and very robust.

Same here, Andis 2 speed. I'd suggest you look at getting a 7FC blade in addition to the No. 10 blade that comes with the clippers.

Bob.

I am going to be just a little bit different  :shades: :005: and say although the Andis 2 speed are very good I now have the cordless Heiniger Saphir and would not go back. They are a fair bit more expensive though sorry.  :shades:

For you to compare.  :D

I also recommend the andis 2 speed. They're super quiet and quite lightweight :) not too bad price either !
