Pooping is not the most pleasant of topics but...
« on: July 22, 2014, 11:32:54 AM »
Duke is nearly 4 and a half months old and he has a really odd habit of turning round mid poop and occasionally stands in it as a result. Anyone else notice that their pup does this and is there any way to train him to not do it? It's more at home than on walks but he does it nearly every time.

pooey feet but me having to follow along
picking up from several areas :005:

My Odie used to walk 'n' poo so can sympathise with you!  It's nice now having a cocker who will just stay in one place whilst doing the biz  :005:

My pup runs circles full speed before she stops to pop.... When my boy was a pup he did a poo in form if the number 10... Ashamed to say I was so impressed by his 'artistic' skill I took a photo ...

Duke's not quite that 'artistic'  :005: I'm guess it's cockers just being a bit crazy then!

Charlie had a habit of doing that but after a couple of weeks he seems to have stopped doing that most of the time. He prefers standing in his own pee now instead.  :embarassed:

Arvy goes round in circles does a poo then sometimes turns round a bit to do a bit more or walks a few yards and does another. Sometimes I think he wants an extra I pooped in the right place treat or has shares in poo bags :lol2:  Our springer use to do it too, I think a lot of dogs do.
