Louis loves those lengths of brown paper that are used to pad out parcels and I keep them for him. They're really useful on days like this, when he's only had one walk because of the rain and has also been on his own for a few hours (with William, but Will ignores him and sleeps). I can either give him balls of it to shred, or lengths to play tug of war with, or put tiny treats in twists of it in a cardboard box or hidden around a room to find. Keeps his little brain occupied for a while and helps him to settle down before I watch Downton Abbey
Will plays a bit with the paper but prefers having a little bit of peanut butter smeared in a kong while I entertain Louis.
