How things have changed, when I was that youngsters age we would have relieved the cocker of the head so we could take it to school on a Monday morning 

.....and displayed it on "the nature table"  !!

I've had Bosley running around with a pigeon he was running around with, with the entrails swinging around everywhere and others looking at m and him as if OMG - I always keep moving when he finds something as he also guards it (mind you I think he enjoys that bit too as he looks disappointed when no other dog is interested in it - probably because they got fed up of him snarling at them) in the hope he might get fed up of me moving away all the time
