Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on how Lili is doing - things seem to be going well so far.

Had a check up today with the orthopedic surgeon who operated on her spine and he's pleased with her progress in that department and with her recovery from the pyometra. He gave her good feel all over and didn't have any concerns, but because the surgical site herniated we have to be cautious and continue to keep her fairly rested and work back up to exercise again but for the most part things are looking good. Still of a bit of a way to go before she's fully recovered from the complications with the pyo but she's going well in the right direction and that's such a relief. She's been doing great in herself recently, back to being the nosy little bossy boots we know and love haha! Unfortunately though it seems she has developed a bit of a problem with vomiting bile if her stomach is empty and I think it's down to being on metacam for so long and a cocktail of antibiotics but we've adjusted her feeds to prevent her stomach being empty for too long and since doing that so far we've managed to curb the vomiting. So fingers crossed that's nothing to worry about long term, as we've had enough veterinary dramas to last a lifetime haha!

Once again, big thank you to everyone who sent kind thoughts and prayers for her. I'm convinced you've helped her (and me) get through these tough times. Hoping she can put all this behind her and have the freedom to be her crazy Cocker self again!

Big hugs to you all xoxox
