Feeding Recommendations
« on: November 28, 2024, 03:47:13 PM »
Could you advise me what brand of food you give you cockers.  I used to feed Maisie on both Lily's Kitchen Shepherd's Pie and Salmon dry food but over the past year I felt the quality had deteriorated since the company was taken over.  A few months ago I switched to another brand but am still not entirely happy.  Any recommendations would be appreciated.  Grain free food is preferable.  Many thanks.

Rupert is not a cocker, but doesn't know it.  ;) I feed him Forthglade Grain Free Duck and atm their Christmas Turkey meals (normally it is Turkey, sweet potato and veg) both grain free and wet food. The only dry food he gets are his treats - either Fish4Dogs Mackerel Morsels or Forthglade Soft Bites.

Minstrel who was a cocker used to have Forthglade wet food too. He enjoyed the Lamb and Beef Meals - the Turkey ones used to make him constipated.  :o

The link to Forthglade is below should you be interested: https://forthglade.com/collections/wet-dog-food  They have some Black Friday offers on at the moment too.  :happydance:

Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.
