Miss Molly
« on: February 22, 2025, 10:06:27 PM »
Had to make a visit to the emergency vet  at 11pm. Miss Molly was fitting, dilated pupils and growling at us.  She had a temperature of over 39.  That day she had part 2 of the lepto 4 vaccine.    Happy to say she is now back to normal ( wallet ABIT empty)
Nothing else was out the ordinary that day. Unfortunately lepto 2 has now been discontinued.    Now have 12 months to decide how to  go forward

Poor Molly ! So had she actually had the vaccine? Did that cause the fitting?
My childhood spaniel used to have fits, it's quite frightening to watch.

I think it was a reaction to it.  Although the vets won't have it as a reason.  She was lethargic with part one, but  had no concerns which is why we went ahead with part 2.
