Picture On The Name Bit

I'd like to add a picture to the bit on the left that gives your name ect.  I have tried honest!  I have pictures in photobucket but have no idea how to add one.  I did add one to the signature bit but all my posts (and old ones) had this huge photo atttached to the bottom of each one so I had to get rid of it!  Any help appreciated

The bit under your name is your Avatar - to post a pic -

Go to My Controls  - Edit Avatar Settings -  copy and past from the IMG in photobucket andadd it into the Url tag.

Don't forget when you copy and paste you will have two ' '[IMG' at the beginning and the end - you will have to remove one of them from each end. ( i always have to do this when i use photobucket - image won't come up otherwise )

you may have to resize it to fit too.

I get this message back even though I've resized to 25 %?

Your avatar must be no bigger than 80 pixels by 80 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 30 KB.
The following file types are allowed: gif,jpeg,jpg,swf,png

in photobucket you can edit the picture and resize it ( you can make it smaller but can't put it back to original size )

You can resize it a couple of times in photobucket til you get the right size

took me ages working out to resize and put my pic up too

Thanks!  I've resized until it says 6k  ..... I have no idea what that means   I'll PM you with a picture - if I can!

I have NO idea what I did but I've just noticed a picture by my name!  I got it from my own picture folder - tried twice before but this time it seems to have worked  Thanks for your help Donna    (it wan't the picture I originally intended but what the heck)!!!!!

Thanks!  It's a bit out dated now but I'm not even going to attempt to change it
