How to housebreak your dog in 7 days

Hi our of interest I thought I'd if anyone has read Shirlee Kalstone's, How to housebreak your dog in 7 days?????  If so, did her suggested programs work?

I used it for about 3 days I didn't like the fact they had to be crated for such long periods of time, although it did work to some extent, in 3 days.

I think if i remember rightly the style is to

Let you puppy play for a while, let it out, crate it,  let it out the crate after a few hours, and go straight out and praise when doing business, then putting back in crate, letting out to loo, then playing for a while, then back in crate for a while, back out side etc...

I didn't feel comfortable with the amount of time, but I would say it helped slightly, as she learnt to go on command quicker.

It never put Jazz off the crate, she loves her bed.
