thanks guys. barkley is definitely a happier chappy today
though still a bit confuddled about the lack of walks. he seems to be adapting remarkably well though. he hasn't had a proper walk since tuesday morning, when he cut his paw (we assume on glass
) but he isn't going as loopy as i feared he might. instead he's very lethargic, which is to be expected, i'm sure. can't wait to get out and about again though- we've had a lovely couple of sunny days and i hate not being able to go out and make the most of them!
Max cut his pad open very badly a few weeks ago too, it looked like it was never going to heal and i was really worried about but then got better quite suddenly when it did start to heal and he's nearly back to himself now apart from still from having to wear a sock all the time 
paula- i read your thread when barkley hurt his paw and max's injury sounds much worse than barkers' so it's very good to hear that they do heal up eventually.
i hope max is soon back to full fitness- he's an absolutely gorgeous fellow.
