Can small puppies be given uncooked bones from butchers?

As Cazza said, but just to reassure you my friend has a litter of Alaskan Malamutes at the moment who are four weeks old and enjoying raw chicken wings bones and all.  ;)
Sam is mum to - Sapphi (working black Lab 5 1/2 yrs), Max (Golden Retriever 4 yrs) Morgan (American Cocker 2 1/2yrs) and mum in spirit to Barney (English Cocker 3 1/2 yrs now living in Scotland)

Yes, same here, my cocker litters have raw chicken wings from 4 weeks of age too, they certainly enjoy crunching their way through the bones  :005:

Mine were also raised on raw and were given chicken bones to try out from weaning age. Just keep a watchful eye on any dog with raw bones just as a precautionary measure. :D

What about lamb or beef bones?
Dawson is 12 weeks and our butcher has offered us alamb bone but i am unsure as to whether he can have it. If he can is raw best??

Jayne we got a raw lamb bone from buthcer today and Shadow loved it he is 10 weeks old on Saturday.  He chewed and chewed for half hour then slept for 3 lol.

Mine have breast of lamb (lamb ribs). Always give a bone raw and never cooked. Cooked bones can splinter and cause problems.

Lamb ribs are great - Coco loves 'em.  I would probably avoid beef bones for a pup tbh as they are harder and can wear down their teeth (this may be a good thing though!  :shades:  :005: )
