I've never had a problem getting the correct vial for the bloods from my vets  :-\ I ship mine Royal Mail International insured which usually costs around £6.00 I think. I generally tend to ask the PO for the cheapest safest way and take their advice.

I have sent blood Via Fed-Ex, cost about £28. Think I would use that optigen with the postal strikes.

I think I will wait for the clinic in Feb.  :-\  With the post strikes Royal Mail is not very reliable at the moment and £28 for Fed Ex, makes it quite expensive, you lose what you save on the discount.

I am hoping to do it by post, but if they don't get the strike sorted out before Feb, then I will be going down in person.  ;)

I know this is a bit of a late reply, but we used the Satellite clinic just recently, had 4 bloods drawn at our own vet, sent them off Fedex on Monday, they arrived at Optigen on Tuesday morning and got the results back on Friday of the same week......couldn't ask for a better service.  Result certificates arrived yesterday, so a week in total.

That's really fast Sharon  ;) I'm not syaing the clinics aren't a good idea but I've found the Satellite clinics very easy to participate in  ;)
