Cocker spotting!
« on: October 06, 2007, 10:32:15 AM »
My oh has finally realised how much I love cockers after I nearly choked whilst watching dirty cows on living tv. The 4 girls had to have tea with the lads mum and 2 of her friends as they showed the girls coming into the room I spotted 2 big brown eyes and a nose eyeing up the plate of cream cakes. 30 seconds later you saw the lads mum with the little black cocker on its back getting a tummy rub on the sofa, a little while later the gorgeous cocker was on the knee of one of the friends giving/getting kissed and cuddled  :luv: I was eating my dinner and nearly choked everytime I saw the little darling.
My oh thought I was a loon as I was calling him through from the other room to see the tv  ::)  :005:
Anyone else cocker spot?  ph34r

we cocker spot everywhere we go - not just on TV.  We even have a little phrase which we use every time we see a cocker.  If either of us is watching the tv and a cocker comes on we always call the other in to see him and if we see a cocker whilst we're out and about we always come home and tell each other about the - sad arn't we :005:

I talked to my dad yesterday on the phone, him and my mum are on holiday in england. My mother has never really liked dogs, but I think we have changed her mind now because I could hear her in the background going: "Oh oh! Look! It's a LauriĆ«-dog, a real one, looks like her too, how cute!" Turnes out it was a liver working cocker with a docked tail, so it didn't look like her at all. I'm sure it was gorgeous tho  ;)  But living in Norway they had never seen a working cocker before, LauriĆ« has some worker in her so I think she meant the body type looked the same
I'm much worse, I allmost run to catch up with people if I see someone walking in front of me with a cocker. Trying to look casual and un-stalker like and catch my breath at the same time   No cocker goes unnoticed around me, not on tv or in the real world.

I do that too!  I always stop people with cockers and talk to them; the moment you say, "Oh I have cockers" it's like you've known each other for years! :005:
