Now, for 2 dogs who run at top speed EVERY day into the river, the reaction to a bit of warm water is ridiculous.

How about outside with a hose, instead? Molo hates the "bath" (I think it is too confining and slippery), but will tolerate a hosing with no problems  ::)

I pop my two on an old plastic patio table and use the hose-attachment designed for spraying the garden to wet them down, then I shampoo and rinse them off - I have even blow-dried them out there, too  :005:

I clip Jarvis on our plastic patio table... They make great grooming tables. :005:

My two "tolerate" the bath, Jess more than Lottie, - look at Mrs Grumpy in this photo :005:

but Jess is so funny AFTER the bath she will sit in the same position until you remove the towel - very good for funny photo opportunities

Roxy had her first proper bath last night. At the weekend, I did ran a shallow bath for her to get used to the water, which she loved:

...she wasn't very impressed when the shampoo came out!!

Our other dog (in the photograph with Roxy), loves water, and dives in the bath, but, like Roxy, HATES 'being washed'. When out on walks she throws a deaf'un, I only have to say "yooooou mucky dog, get in that shower" and she soon starts trotting back with her tail between her legs!!!

We just had a new bathroom fitted with brand new shiny bath :shades: So I decided that Harvey is not getting bathed in there ( might scratch my new shiny bath :005:)
So I solved the problem by sending him to my friend for a bath and tidy up( she's a dog groomer ;)) and will just keep sending him there whenever he gets wiffy :005:
