Yay, I get to do a proud mummy post! Dave (my OH) took Griffin out for his morning wee and, drum roll please, he cocked! Yay!

Thing is, I've since taken him out 100,000 times and all I get is a delicate lady squat  ::)  Must be a boy thing. Oh well, at least there's some progress.  WIll keep you updated  :005:

Wow...!!! I'd say he's pretty advanced as well as a big boy!  ;) It took trev until he was 2 before he started assuming the 'c0ck', can you get Griff to teach Dave on Sunday please  :D :D

cassie was so intrigued when sh went fora walk with a boy dog, he's alot bigger then her, so everytime he had a wee she stood under him watching :005: it was as if to say, why does he wee like that and not in the same way as me and where is it coming from.........dogs you can't take them anywhere :lol: :luv:

I think it's a Cocker thing.  All of my Cockers have squatted from time to time.  Charley is nearly ten and will squat at least once on our daily walk.

Hmmm I'll teach MY Dave to answer to 'Bandit' over the next couple of days.. then we should be ok, I assume that's not something YOUR Dave answers to? :005: Having said that sometimes I don't think the name even has to come into it, when my son was two, we were walking to the park with Trev (the spaniel) and at a road crossing I said 'Sit' (admittedly quite firmly) and when I looked down both Trev and my son were sitting on the pavement... ph34r :shades: A woman across the road was bent double laughing and I just felt like Maggie Thatcher  ph34r

This is how Logan started, at first it was I'm sure he's just tried to cocker his leg, squats like a girl then lifts one paw up, then you wait for another but just can't catch him because all the rest are girly piddles, but as time goes by the manly piddles outweigh the girly ones and within a month or 2 he became a real man. Just to say that after that was mastered it does your head in because they have to stop every two mins to cock their leg again and again. >:( :005:
