I nearly forgot to tell you all... Griffin graduated his beginers puppy class!
Before tehy can move up to the next class, they have to be observed doing various exercises including recall from other dogs, a recall with the "leave it" command issued as he goes past a strategically placed bonio, sit and down stays for two minutes, walk to heal with automatic stop and my proudest acheivement, down from a hand signal. He can do all of them very well in the hall and in my living room, and quite well outside and on walks. We've passed and I've payed for the intermediate class which starts next year.
