Dry food for weight gain
« on: January 13, 2008, 08:28:14 AM »
Millies on Wainwrights dry at the moment but has got too skinny, can anyone reccomend another brand? But not anything that will send her energy levels through the roof as they're up by the ceiling already  :005:. And she has to have dry food as its used for her training, otherwise she'd be on BARF  :shades:.

Jarv did well on Arden Grange and his weight was good - he lost weight on burns  ::)
(and although he's barf now, we still use kibble occasionally when it's not barf convenient, and he does really like it as training treats too...when he's hungry of course  ::) )

I tried a few foods for sweepie as I was seriously concerned about her weight gain. I found Burns High Energy Lamb to be the best in putting weight on and maintaining it.  :D What ever you choose, make sure you research as much as you can to make sure that food will be suitable for your dog  ;)

CSJ CP21 is excellent for weight gain, it's salmon and rice based.
