arnie not well

ive been up with arnie  most of the night. he is not sick but  really runny no 2s sorry cant spell. he went 3times in a hour and cannot settel.we have just took my son to work weve been gone a hour got  back and hes done it in his crate.any advice thanks

Hi Bev. Poor Arnie. Sorry I can't remember how old he is.

Is he drinking? That's the most important thing really.

Is he eating anything at all? Perhaps best to stick to bland food for today; chicken and rice, that sort of thing.

Does he seem to be in pain?

Have a look at his gums, do they seemtobe a nice pink colour or are they pale?

If in any doubt at all, do call your vet for advice. But if all else seems ok, then just stick to bland food for today and keep an eye on him.

sorry he is 3 yrs old he is drinking gums are ok  he is not in pain but he is weeing alot. he is a sleep now  but awake most of last night.so i slept down stairs with him last night

just to let you know arnie is still the same phoned vets they said to bring him in if no change by tomorow.ive just gave him some rice and chicken. and he has ate that hopefully hes on the mend

Hope Arnie is soon better, it's awful for you all when they have the runs like that. I think you did the right thing contacting your vet it's best to be on the safeside.

Poor Arnie, hope he's feeling better soon. But good that he's eating something. Wish I could be of more help, but wouldn't know what to do myself if in that situation.
