best people to approach are the kennel club they will be able to tell you if the deanstoft affix is still in use and therefore whether or not these people are still breeding.  They might also be able to redirect a letter from you to them on your behalf.

I've done this a couple of times and so long as they have kept the kc updated with any changes of address then usually things go smoothly.

I have a 3 year old orange roan cocker spaniel whose kennel name is Blackoaks Barley Sugar.  Her father is Deantoft Silver Dollar at Tavin and her grandparents on her father's side are Deantoft Chocky Boy and Scotch Toffee at Deantoft.

I hope you dont mind me butting in, but i have a dog that is by Deantoft Shining boy, who was by Deantoft chocky boy out of Hendell Silver Mint, i am trying to work out what colours his grandparents and great grandparents were, and if anyone can tell me what colour chocky boy's father was - i cant read the writing on the pedigree but it reads something like Classicway Ca......man at Tavin and also Hendell silver mint.  Thank you in advance.  Sally w
