Wow, what a great line up of judges!

Well done Colin and all the mods that have got this sorted.

I can't believe it's been a year since the last one! I remember how tough it was judging that! The pics look even better this year.

Hey, we had a great line up last year too - forum celebrities !   

It must be a relief not to be judging this year Chelsea and be able to enter your own photos - still can't believe we made you, Penny and Kirsten judge all 10 categories. In our defence, we weren't expecting so many entries. Looks like there's going to be even more this year... there were about 600 entries last year, in the first 2 days this year we've already had 200 !

Haven't posted for a while, but often pop into keep up to date. I loved last years competition, so have been keeping an eye out.

Loved all the pics and put a few on there of the "ginger one".

Hope that's not taking too much of a liberty, seeing as I haven't posted in a bit - just more for the enjoyment of seeing all the pics really.

A slight update to the rules - can we ask that people don't enter the same photos they put into the competition last year please. Thanks. 

A big thank you to everyone that has already given to the Dogs Trust appeal - it's going so well we've increased our target to £1000, I'm sure we can beat it.    Jane has set up a special fundraising section on the Competition Board for anyone that has anything they want to sell, raffle, auction etc ( including Ebay links). Items don't have to be dog related* - we just ask that all profits go to The Dogs Trust.

I have to say it is a relief not to be judging, although i was thrilled to be asked last year!

Colin-I think I was the last person to send the results through, because I couldn't decide!

Just a reminder for everyone to please read the rules before entering photos. We want this to be a bit of fun for everyone but it puts us in an awkward position if we have to delete ineligible entries.

I was just re-reading the thread about the Judges earlier cos I was showing it to my Mum who's a big Martin Clunes fan    and we were saying that the photos on there of them with their cockers are really lovely and their stories about their dogs are great, like John Barrowman getting his first cocker from Valentino  ... I'd take a cocker over a fancy frock any day as well  and Dandy is a perfect name for a dog belonging to LLB... half cocker half curtain tassel 

Colin since you've managed to persuade these guys to judge this competition do you think you can persuade them to become full on COL-ers??

Yep it was great of them to send us all the info and photos - I loved reading their bits about their dogs. We'll probably save John Barrowman's piece somewhere on the site - given how busy he is it was amazing he found the time to write all that for us. I don't know if anyone listened to Mark Radcliffe last week ( he was covering for Steve Wright in the afternoon) - Toto got mentioned a couple of times, even got a record dedicated to him ... 'this is for you Toto, sitting at home in the kitchen listening. Good boy !'

They already are. They all post on the secret COL celebrity Cocker owners section. Elton John moderates it - rules with a rod of iron as well... you should see the tiffs between him and Anne Robinson.

The entries already posted are fantastic, I've never entered a photo competition before, really looking forward to TRYING to get some decent photos
