Hi there,
I thought I should come on and introduce myself since some of you have been good enough to give me some really helpful advice.
My name is Liz and I live in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. In Febuary we adopted our Cocker, Floopy, from a SSPCA center. We had originally gone in to see a Siberian Huskie, but spotted the little guy and fell in love with him on the spot. He is the most charming, loving, cheeky wee guy you could ever come across. He does have a few small behaviour problems, but nothing serious or messy

.
He forgets that he is actually a dog and will come up and sit on my knee and throw himself backwards so that he's sitting upright, just like a person, he's most commonly found lying flat on his back with four paws in the air on the sofa fast asleep. Floopy and our cat have formed a very, very shakey truce, basically as long as the cat stays outside then war doesnt breakout in the house. We have to smuggle the cat indoors at night.

. But all in all he's a great dog to have around, we are very lucky to have found him. I look forward to posting on here and will let you all know what progress Floopy is making with his training.
All the Best
Liz
