I had Smudge on Rice and boiled fish when he was a tiny with tummy probs, and that helped as did some pro-kolin squirted on his meal at least once a day, this is non prescription, I think chemists sell it, but I get mine online
Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

Hi Everyone. :D
I took Ruby to my vets this morning, haf a check over.He has put her on antibiotics for 5days.he doe'snt think it colitis, just a bug, that puppys are prone to get(airborne)i cant remember the three names,he said.one sounds like jardine?
i have to feed her chicken & rice for a few days ...i mentioned about the food she is on jwb,and that i am thinking to change to royal canin,he said they are both made by the same company :o

lets hope the tabs do the trick, and me and family dont catch these bugs ph34r..Thanks every one for your advise :luv:

If chicken and rice is not doing the trick you could try white boiled fish and little rice   My dogs love the fish  :luv:
My Rosie was very poorly a few weeks back with severe diawotsits , including loads of blood loss.  :'(
The vet gave her antibiotics for 5 days, she had fish and rice in tiny amounts to start with, then we increased. After 5 days she was all good in the poo department.
Don't worry if Ruby does not go to the loo for a couple of days, I think we waited about 4 days before Rosie passed anything.
Thankfully they recover quickly, my Rosie is now back to a good weight after losing over 2kg during her poorly tummy.
Hoping your Ruby makes a speedy recovery, I'm sure the family will be fine    We  have never got anything from the dogs in 25 years.
Take care Jo

Thats really good news  :luv:  So pleased, I would very slowly introduce the JWB kibble again over a few days

Rosie loved her fish so much she now has white Coley mixed in at the weekends as a treat  :luv: she sits by the microwave waiting for it to 'ping'

Hope she is coming along ok now......shouldnt be too long until Tummy is back to normal!!!

Didnt know that about Royal Canin and JWB, i get the vetinary edidtion RC. But JWB didnt suit my too at all!!! Its really strange if they are made by the same company. Although RC is alot dearer!!!

Keep us posted, wishing a speedy recovery!
