Lots of positive thoughts for poor little Tilly.
Looks like we will both be pampering our poor little newly neutered dogs tonight  :luv:

hi everyone  :D :luv:
i phoned my vet on the dot of 3pm. and tilly has come safetly through surgery.( i cried  :'(, silly me, but was just relieved it all went well, relieved for tilly its all over, as her maternal duties are finished, she can now live an even more pampered pooch, and be season free). i now have to wait until later tonight until i can go and get her and bring her home, got her some lovely chicken breast for tea, which i'm sure she will love.

so i'm feeling alot better, but will feel even happier when she is back home with me her mum..and the rest of my cockers.
so thanks for all your lovley replies for my little tilly, and for helping me along today, when i've been a nervous wreck.
terri  :luv:

will give you a little update ,later tonight, when i have settled tilly in, with loads of gentle cuddles, and i will try and take a little snap shot of her too.

hi everyone  :D :luv:
just a quick update on tilly.
she has really beeen through it today, there was a little hitch to the op, one of tillys overies broke, and they had to make a much bigger incision, and have been given painkillers for her, she has to go back in 3 days for a post op check, and back in 14 days for the stiches to come out, they should have been internal stiches, but they had to make a much bigger incision than normal because of one of the overies breaking as they removed everything.
she is really spaced out, not quite with it at all,( but normal,as she has had full genreal /anesthectic, and major surgery, i hope my little tilly shines through again over the next few days, looking at her at present is breaking my heart  :'(, as she does'nt understand whats happened to her, but they do bounce back quickly ,and they have given me an emergency tel no incase i need it tonight.
but hopefully tilly will be fine. she is shaking, but fast asleep, she had a few bits of chicken, and loads of cuddles, but is now doing the best thing in sleeping.
the picture may upset ( not meant too), but just to let you know, tilly is home, and is ok. she has cried a bit, but think shock, and a bit sore.
i too think i feel like i'm in shock, as i was expecting everything to go smoothley, was'nt expecting to see the scar i can see on tilly, but she has come through it so far  :luv:, and with lots of tlc, cuddles, and hopefully tommorrow i will see a little glimmer of the tilly i know shine through, at present, she is completley out of it, which for tillys sake is proberly a good thing.

thanks for all your lovley replies.
love terri

Poor Tilly, she's had a bad day so far but I'm sure she feels a lot safer now she's home. May be it will take her a day or so to start feeling really happy again, but she'll get there.
Hugs from William, who had a very big op. when he was castrated as one of his wotsits hadn't dropped and they had a lot of trouble finding it. He was very unhappy and shaking when I got him home and we had a bit of an unsettled first night, but after that he was a lot better.
The nice thing is that once the discomfort has gone and the anesthetic has really worn off they never think about it again!

I'm glad Tilly is doing fine after her op today.

Katie was the same when she went in for her op a few months ago.  The following day she was jumping off the sofas playing with Henry again  ph34r  It gave me the fright of my life when I saw her.

They do bounce back quick, so I'm sure once the anethestic wears off and she has some breakfast in the morning, she'll be back to her usual self in no time. ;)
Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

Sorry to hear Tilly's op wasn't straight forward. Hope she's feeling better soon.
Sending hugs.

Hello again Tilly,

You look just like me after my op in your picture   I was a poorly girl afterwards too, but in a day or two I was back to normal, and I am sure you will be too.  I like the sound of that chicken!  I scared my mum by not eating anything for ages afterwards  :005:  The chicken got to me in the end though, I just couldn't resist it.  Have lots of sleep and you will feel better in the morning.  Try giving your mum a little wag of your tail - that will make her feel better and show her you still love her lots.

Lots of love  :luv:

Your namesake, Tilly  :luv:
