Toweling robes???
« on: October 26, 2008, 12:12:21 PM »
This sounds a little odd, but mine love having a bath but are not too keen on being rubbed down with a towel.

Is there anything I can buy that I can put around them and they can wander around in to get some of the wet out?
Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

Pets at Home do a toweling dressing gown  :luv:

ETA     Or maybe a small childs dressing gown, the belt would go around the tummy nicely

A few of us have lovely ones made by Danni ( Danni n Betty)  I don't think she's been around on COL for a while though  :-\

If you can find one they are really good, Flo loves wearing hers after a bath  ::)

Oooh, P@H, I've got to go to B&Q this afternoon so I'll pop across the road and have a look in there.
I'd not thought about a kiddies dressing gown either.

Great advice, ta ;)

Trover do a brilliant towelling coat for after baths etc. I bought one for Alfie recently, it really is good.  :shades:

I am a mean mummy so Coco's came from Oxfam for £1.59 - she is modelling it here:

It is to fit a child of 6 months but tbh it would be better a bit bigger if it is just for drying off - I reckon anything up to 12 months would be the right size  ;)

I tried Jarvis in Indies dressing gown (age 12-18 months) and it would barely go on one leg ::) i think he might need age 2-3! :o :005:

A friend of mine makes these towling robes,
she has a stall, at newark dog shows,
she also makes ear snods, water proof all in one suits, quilted beds.
