How odd - just cracked heelwork!
« on: December 28, 2008, 01:15:05 PM »
Jarvis is a funny boy ::) :005: just walking home and ran a bit to get out of the way of a reversing car, and he thought it was great, lollopping beside me to heel perfectly when i ran, then when i stopped running, he slowed to a perfect heel position when i was walking, obviously waiting for me to run again. :005: :luv: he kept it up all the way home too. :shades: just a shame it's not something i'll be able to keep up ::) as i don't do running. ::)
Owned by Jarvis (Cocker), and Lucy (Cavalier).

Got to be worth trying though Beth, and maybe he'll continue to slow down when you do and eventually just walk by your side?  :shades:

 :005:  I don't do running either

But I always remember a trainer saying to me ' Always vary the speed you walk, sometime slow some times fast and even run too'
