Woo hoo some slightly good news!
« on: March 28, 2009, 06:07:14 PM »
My OH has actually talked about the possibility of getting another cocker today!!  We have had Einstein for 4 years and he has always said no when talking about getting another.

I was just telling him about the rescue working cockers that had just come up and he started asking questions about them.  This is something he has never done before and given me hope that 2009 could be our year for another cocker!!!

I didn't push the subject but now I am a bit excited!! :D

Fingers crossed for me!

Yay, great news, hope he bites, lots of bait out there... :D

Mine has also started asking questions about another, he was quizzing my pal Angela (Surfer Rosa) about how easy / hard it is to have a pup, she  (thankfully) told him it was very easy and fantastic, plus loads of fun. Who knows... :D

Thats great news. MY OH finally gave in when I kept showing him the pics of the dogs in the rescue centres, and when I showed him Alfie, that was it - he told me to ring up - and 5 months later, we all couldnt be happier. As Skyesmum says, feel free to PM me if you want "Happy Ending" rescue dog stories to help persuade him!

I find letting them have something first works! For instance, my OH wanted a new laptop! He wanted it so badly, he agreed to me having another puppy! I haven't got it yet, but am keeping it in hand, for when I need to!
